The Director, Employee Experience will lead the continued development and innovative practices essential to positively influencing the employment journey and talent acquisition efforts at Lifemark. Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, this individual will support the evolution of our talent management approach to ensure best practices and a truly exceptional employee experience through innovative recruitment and engagement initiatives that drive employee satisfaction and success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with the leadership team to understand the key organizational objectives and challenges in order to provide HR leadership and consulting support for engagement, retention and recruitment efforts.
Along with the Manager, Employee Experience, align the talent management processes/strategy with our employment brand focusing on DEI, talent development and overall organizational health; plan and provide strategy, direction, and counsel to leadership team and HR partners on future of work, and emerging employee experience concerns.
Plan and implement a recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants
Build programs and own activities promoting different initiatives with collaboration of the HR and National Office teams.
Develop and maintain strong HR analytics in multiple systems for talent acquisition efforts. Continued focus on Talent Dashboard for insights, issues and challenges to recommend and implement solutions that will drive performance and achieve results.
Embrace change and understand strategies to align the business with future needs. Challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change that drives continuous improvement in business performance.
Provide vision and leadership to his/her Talent team by managing people, performance, development, health and well-being issues and resources effectively and in line with relevant policies and procedures.
Collaborate with managers and employees to improve communication, establish effective working relationships, and build on the employee experience and engagement.
Drive a culture of growth, high performance, and positive employee relations, and support local implementation strategies for any new cultural initiatives.
Implement, conduct, and manage employee engagement surveys to understand the workplace with the goal of providing and enhancing positive employee culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, Human Resources, or any relevant fields combined with minimum 10 years’ experience in human Resources, Employee Experience and People & Culture, ideally in a high-paced and digital focused organization.
Minimum 4 years experience of leading and managing teams.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated depth and breadth of core areas of Employee Experience (Talent Acquisition, Employment Brand, employee relations, leadership development, etc.)
Proven ability to build and run programs in areas related to employee experience.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically and collaborate across regional teams
Ability to conduct data-driven research on the health of the organization utilizing surveys and available HRIS data.
Knowledge and deep understanding of Human Rights, Employment Standards, Health and Safety, improvement of HR metrics/KPls and HR policies.
Experience with stakeholder management, program design/management, and change management.
Must be high level strategic thinker.
Strong collaborative approach and mindset.
Action oriented with a focus on results.
Strong business acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with different aspects of HR administration.
