We are looking for a Health Care Aide to provide in home care for a senior living in Spruce Grove.
This is a casual role, and will be 16 hours a week (No night shifts). The schedule is flexible.
As a Health Care Aide, you will:
- Provide resident-focused care in a home-like environment, respecting the individual and dignity of the resident and family
- Participate in all aspects of personal resident care to ensure the physical, psychological, and social needs of the resident/family are met
- Establish communication and a working relationship with resident/family and co-workers for the purpose of meeting the resident needs
- Deliver effective and efficient care under the direction of the family that promotes resident/family choice and acknowledges the resident’s strengths, limitations, as well as their need for safety and safety of others
- Assist with serving meals, feeding, and providing nourishment supplements
- Light cleaning duties
- Respond to any need the resident may have
- Assist resident with bathing, grooming, dressing and other personal hygiene activities
What you bring:
- Health Care Aide certificate (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Experience caring for seniors with Dementia
- Demonstrated skills in communication, teamwork, organization, and customer service
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to person-centered care
- Ability to problem solve through critical thinking
- Enthusiastic attitude and energy to provide excellent care

- Spruce Grove, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
