Mary Brown’s Chicken and Taters is one of Canada’s fastest-growing franchises and the recipient of the Canadian Franchise Association’s “Franchisee’s Choice Award” for 8 consecutive years. As we continue to expand across Canada, we’re looking for a General Manager – Stephenville who will be as passionate about our business as we are.
What is expected of you?
As a General Manager
· Delivering genuine hospitality and exceptional guest experience
· Ensure all Mary Brown’s operational and administrative procedures and standards are adhered to
· Managing restaurant P&L and delivering on financial expectations/Budget
· Be a leader in the community building and driving community devotion
· Leading the team to deliver on Mary Brown’s Vision
· Directing restaurant operations on a day to day basis
· Ensuring that all team members have the proper training and mentoring to deliver high standards
· Providing timely reports directly to Home Office
· Ensuring all government regulations and procedures are being adhered to
· Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and performance evaluation
Skills and past experience:
· Committed to working full time in a challenging fast paced retail environment
· Great communication and presentation skills
· Highly organized and proficient in time management
· Proficient in MS Office and Point of Sales software is an asset
· A min of 3-5 years in management capacity in the QSR or fast casual industry
· Organized, results-driven and a proven multi-tasker
· Strong business intelligence to analyze business trends and be able to find opportunities to drive better results
· A proven track record of working with a team building trust and respect at all levels
· Past experience that shows leadership in a community is a great asset
· A strong knowledge of health and safety and foods standards
· Advance Food Safety and First Aid certification
