In this position, you will manage the overall service department of our dealership, from customer relations to warranty administration and beyond. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, developing, and training the service team, reviewing, and revising customer service orders, and implementing strategic operational initiatives. Your goal is to build mutually beneficial relationships with clients, manufacturers, and team members, while driving our dealership’s profitability and performance.
Key responsibilities:
• Identifying and developing customer and interdepartmental relationships.
• Advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for customer vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Assessing and responding to the needs of each customer and each department.
• Training and developing the Service team.
• Administering warranty claims and communicating warranty information to customers.
• Reviewing and revising customer service orders and inspecting the quality of technicians’ repairs.
• Developing and following action plans to ensure Service department profitability.
• Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities.
