As an Accounting Coordinator at NFP, you will be assisting and working alongside the industry’s best accounting professionals to manage the full-cycle accounting process. This includes but is not limited to analyzing balance sheets, managing general ledger accounts, recording commission statements and assisting with month & year-end closing activities. With success in this role, you’ll also have an opportunity to assist with accounting projects as they arise from time to time.

What you Bring
Accounting degree and/or diploma from accredited institution strongly preferred
Entry-level/intern to 2 years experience in financial services industry preferred; insurance industry and asset
Go-getter attitude; not afraid to handle ‘grunt-work’
Quick learner and comfortable in an uncertain/changing environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Some knowledge of full-cycle accounting procedures
A high degree of concentration
Strong time management, organizational, and ability to consistently meet deadlines unsupervised
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information
