This position will report to Sr. Manager, Procurement Operations within the Potash Business Unit.
This position is located in Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
Support and lead initiatives for Potash BU warehouse and inventory optimization, focusing on stakeholder collaboration, process and technology implementation, and sustainment to realize a best-in-class procurement organization
Identify, lead implementation, and support sustainment of operational excellence opportunities within Potash warehousing and inventory management framework, leveraging data, analytics, and stakeholder insights across the BU to improve systems and processes, aligned to a vision for operational excellence and value creation for the business
Focus on supporting the rebuildables program at Rocanville, with expectations to optimize the processes, test those ideas, and implement efficiencies across the network, with a priority on efficient execution of maintenance planning and supplier collaboration
Earn the trust of, and collaborate with, internal stakeholders across the BU within maintenance, operations, planning and projects, building commitment and support to implement positive change within warehousing and inventory, responding to operational needs and value-drivers
Leverage technology and data analytics to develop insights and enable strategic decision making, lead implementation and sustainment of same within the Potash BU warehouse and materials management teams
Be a leader for warehousing and inventory best practices across the network, collaborating directly with warehouse supervisors, inventory coordinators, catalogers, materials master data team, and site managers to set clear and reasonable expectations for meaningful and sustainable improvements across the Potash BU
Expectations for up to 25% travel
What you will bring:
Incumbent will have warehouse and materials management and inventory control experience in an industrial environment, with a strategic sourcing background
Supply Chain Management Professional Designation, a bachelor’s degree, Professional Parts Person Designation or equivalent education
Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement, Inventory Management, Lean / Six Sigma, and Operational Planning preferred
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems and tools (MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, PowerBI)
Excellent working knowledge of Oracle EAM System and SAP Ariba and enabling technology such as Viziya would be an asset
An aptitude to learn and implement technological solutions with practical and timely approaches to creating efficient business solutions to operational problems, with a vision and mindset of continuous improvement and innovation
High commitment and practice to safety
A strength in project management, with a demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, garner strong buy-in from stakeholders and be adaptable, flexible, and resilient
