The Role: In our accelerated growth journey and mission to Do Some Good® for animals and the planet, we are looking for a dynamic Director, People Operations to support Open Farm’s rapid growth objectives by elevating our talent recruitment and employee development capacities, while balancing company objectives with employee wellbeing, engagement and culture. We are looking for a strategist that can understand the business quickly and critically think about ways we can become an exceptional company. This role will oversee a smart, capable, and eager team of 2 people, inspiring them to grow their own careers. Responsibilities & Scope.
This is a hybrid position based in downtown Toronto with the expectation to work in-office 3 days a week).
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director, People Operations is responsible for advancing talent acquisition efforts while designing, building, and executing people programs and policies to ensure development, engagement, and retention of the Open Farm team. The Director, People Operations will work closely with the Chief People Officer to support the full employee lifecycle, including, but not limited to, engagement, recognition, total rewards, learning and development, performance management, talent management, employee relations, policy, legal & regulatory compliance.
