Job Summary:
The IT/QA Assistant provides administration, maintenance, and technical support to end users’ computers and associated systems. This position is located onsite in downtown Toronto, ON, Canada.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide administration and maintenance support to end users’ computers and associated systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to computers, POS, servers, printers, and network equipment.
- Collaboratively manages, maintains, and updates Microsoft IIS, Active Directory, Exchange and other back-office applications and server room equipment
- Maintains and tracks IT equipment, records, and software licensing.
- Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction.
- Maintains and tracks IT equipment, records, and software licensing.
- Maintains and configures antivirus and other security tools.
- Administers and ensures maintenance and updating of all Security Infrastructure computer systems and hardware platforms.
- Provides after-hours support for planned maintenance and on-call emergency support when required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a customer service/end-user support mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be highly motivated and possess a strong desire to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Knowledge of computer hardware peripheral devices and networking/switching equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP VLANs.
- Windows experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, business related, or Information System field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and updates of hardware and software.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
