We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our construction team. The Project Coordinator will perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:
Support Project Manager and Project director.
Communicate effectively with other project team, consultants, contractors, building operators and clients.
Maintain complete project records.
Maintain effective daily site logs.
Participate and maintain health & safety policies and liaise with H&S consultant.
Perform deficiency walkthroughs, document, and follow up with contractors.
Develop and implement quality control programs.
Assist PM to prepare progress reports for clients.
Assist PM to perform timely reconciliation of subcontracts, payment processes, and outstanding issues; ensuring subcontracts are reconciled and completed as their work on the project is completed.
Oversees administration of change management. RFI’s, CCN’s, Change Orders as directed by Project Manager.
Assist PMs in preparing billing on a regular basis and in compliance with prompt payment timelines.
Prepare billing summaries for various projects utilizing our construction management software (Procore).
Responsible to ensure all information and supporting documents for contracts, billing, change orders, subcontracts and payment notifications are up to date.
Assist with project closeout.
Other duties as required.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE
An interior design and/ or architectural degree or diploma.
Ability to interpret Architectural, Interior Design, Mechanical & electrical drawings.
Full knowledge of software (word, excel, project, bluebeam…etc)
Minimum experience 2-3 years.
Previous experience with Procore is an asset
