PIXOMONDO Looking for Payroll Specialist at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We are in the process of expanding our team and are looking for like-minded professionals who are excited to get in on the ground floor and explore new terrain as we establish a positive culture within the VFX community. Our PXO team continues to expand and explore the frontiers of tech in filmmaking, and we’re looking for you!

Day-to-Day, You’ll Accomplish:

• Processing payroll for all employees, including salary, bonuses and deductions
• Keeping track of employee hours, overtime and absences in electronic time tracking system
• Administering employee benefits such as group insurance plan and pension plan
• Ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll tax laws, such as the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI)
• Responding to employee inquiries and resolving payroll issues
• Keeping confidential employee and payroll records up-to-date
• Generating reports on payroll and benefits costs, hours worked, and other relevant data
• Performing year-end payroll activities, such as T4 forms

Your Track Record:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
• Degree in business, finance or accounting preferred
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations
• Skilled in payroll software programs and Microsoft Office
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
