Pride Group Logistics has a new opportunity for up to 3-4 Dispatchers with a flexible work schedule to join our Operations Team at our location in Mississauga. This is a full-time position with steady year-round work. Training will be provided to the selected candidate
Essential Duties
· Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests/orders
· Examine and verify all paperwork form customer and create and update ACR & ACI manifest for border crossing, while ensuing that customs broker and border control are updated.
· Track and Trace drivers, trucks and trailers when required and communicate with various stakeholders
· Solve operational challenges as they arise
· Maintain the companies Transportation Management System (TMS) by ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
· Heavy communication is required through phone, messaging systems, e-mail and other internal applications
· Recommend and implement appropriate action plans for process improvement
· Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
· High School Diploma
· Minimum 2 years dispatch experience in the transportation industry is preferred
· Minimum of 2 years experience using a dispatch & fleet manager.
· Minimum of 2 years experience in ACE & ACI Manifest & border crossing.
· Working knowledge of e-logs tracking software and safety procedures
· Ability to effectively deliver written and/or oral instructions while assisting drivers on the road
· Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Able to prioritize, set goals, and accomplish tasks with limited supervision
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Basic computer software skills

Salary: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
