Talent Acquisition Specialist – Mississauga

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire recruiting cycle: position validation, posting, resume screening, phone interviews, compensation negotiations and all administrative aspects related to recruiting
• Support the Manager in staffing by providing relevant market advice and training
• Act as a recruitment expert to advise, evaluate current practices and results and recommend revision if necessary
• Identify, develop and maintain a network of candidates through a proactive screening system and by maintaining ongoing relationships with candidates, partnerships, etc.

What you need to succeed:

• Successful completion of a university degree or community college diploma in Human Resource – considered an asset
• Knowledge of relevant employment and human service legislation, acts and regulation, and employee and labour relations trends and issues.
• An HR generalist background would be a definite asset.
• Minimum of one year of recruiting experience with strong direct search skills
• Proactive in nature with strong communication skills and the ability to manage around emergencies and

priorities

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients while having fun and taking on new challenges.
• Adaptability, flexibility and agility to multi-task and prioritize
• Self-motivated and excellent time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
