Our client is a large manufacturer of consumer goods, based in Winnipeg, with a warehouse in the US and plants in Mexico. The role is an on-site role. They are looking for a Director of Logistics responsible for setting strategic and tactical solutions and driving financial results as it relates to inbound and outbound logistics, specifically transportation and warehousing. The primary focus of the role will be the management and oversight of the transportation of materials between Mexico, US and Canada. You will ensure customer satisfaction and help support growth through a delivery experience that is on time, cost effective and damage free. You should have 10 years experience in leading logistics in a manufacturing environment and experience with Import and Export controls. You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering. There will be some international travel to company sites. A great compensation package will accompany this position
