RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE :
Le responsable de la chaîne d’approvisionnement gère les domaines de la planification de la demande, de la planification des matériaux, de l’entreposage et du transport (entrant et sortant). Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de l’approvisionnement des usines / OpCo, en veillant à ce que les bons matériaux, les matières premières et les ingrédients soient disponibles à temps, livrés dans les bonnes quantités et prêts à être utilisés.
Le responsable de la chaîne d’approvisionnement est responsable de toutes les activités visant à garantir une planification précise et opportune des processus afin de répondre aux exigences des clients, en maximisant l’efficacité et les capacités des installations de production dans le respect des paramètres de qualité. Il/elle est chargé(e) de garantir le plus haut niveau de conformité, de qualité et d’efficacité en matière de transport et d’entreposage externe.
Le responsable de la chaîne d’approvisionnement gère également les volumes et la valeur des stocks, conformément aux objectifs de l’entreprise en matière de fonds de roulement, et assure une livraison complète et à temps conformément aux exigences des clients, en supervisant toutes les activités de transport pour garantir des opérations sûres, conformes à la législation et rentables.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Manager manages the areas of Demand planning, Material Planning, Warehousing and Transport (inbound and outbound). The incumbent will be responsible for the supply for the plants / OpCo, ensuring that the right materials, feedstock and ingredients are available on time, delivered in the right quantities and ready for use.
The Supply Chain Manager has ownership of all activities to ensure accurate and timely planning of processes to meet customer requirements, maximizing the production facility efficiencies and capabilities within quality parameters. He/ She is responsible for securing highest level of compliance, quality and efficiency on Transport, external warehousing.
The Supply Chain Manager also manages the inventory volumes and the value, aligned with company working capital targets, and ensure on time in full delivery according to customer requirements, overseeing all transport activities to ensure safe, legally compliant and cost-effective operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supply chain Forecasting & Planning:
Coordinates and/or executes the S&OP planning and forecasting process, including aligning the various supply chain plans and managing information, in order to have a structured planning process and tools in place and improved quality and alignment of all SC plans; Actively participates in S&OP development aligned with Nutreco standards.
Manages the planning of raw material supply based on analysis of sales and raw material forecasting in close cooperation with the Commercial, Purchasing and Operations management.
Promote and provide co-operation, close liaison and communication with Production, Purchasing, Formulation, Technical, Commercial & Quality departments to ensure effective and timely material management in order to promote a stable planning platform.
Inbound/Outbound Logistics:
Reviews logistics performance against targets, benchmarks and service agreements;
Ensures optimal use of logistics investment through thoughtful planning of routes of the internal fleet;
Negotiates inbound and outbound rates, and establishes strong relationship with logistics/freight vendors to develop profitable business opportunities;
Ownership of the standard costing process and determines appropriate freight costs for product sales contracts including;
Manages the internal fleet Opex budget;
Ensures all transportation conducted in a safe and environmentally sound manner and all appropriate regulatory requirements are met;
Prepare the Capex budget for the internal fleet.
Inventory Management:
Define the set-up of the ingredients in ERP (Safety stock/Lead time);
Responsible to manage inventories and optimize inventory control procedures for the external warehouse;
Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages;
Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory;
Perform daily analysis and checks to predict potential inventory problems;
Team Management:
Provides leadership (i.e. setting individual objectives, reviewing performance and providing ongoing feedback on a formal & informal basis) so that all team members are aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against the agreed upon KPI’s and key objectives;
Manages the development and performance of the teams through a culture of coaching, skills development and increased accountability.
Preferred Hiring Criteria:
An undergraduate degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent;
Minimum of 10 years’ experience across multiple supply chain competencies: Procurement, Production, Logistics, Demand Management, Planning, Warehousing, Customer Services etc.;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills to drive vision / direction for supply chain management in the organization;
Experience leading or executing the S&OP process;
Well-developed computer skills (MS Office programs), database management and a strong analytical aptitude;
Results-oriented, and thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment;

Proven problem solving and customer service skills;
Ability to quickly prioritize individual responsibilities and effectively manage time.
