Rendition Management & Construction Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will split time between multiple sites and head office, depending on project needs, and will be involved in all aspects of construction coordination including scheduling, tendering, change management, material controls, and contract administration.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, update and improve on the project schedule.
- Create and distribute tender packages, review proposals, and provide recommendations for the award of subcontracts.
- Track changes, review change requests and assemble change orders.
- Manage submittals and mock-ups – get the right material to the right place at the right time.
- Create and issue subcontracts and RFI’s, then track the completion of the scopes of those subcontracts.
- Communicate with all project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- MUST BE LIVING IN VANCOUVER OR THE LOWER MAINLAND
- Minimum of 3 years experience with a construction company as a Project Manager.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Project), Blue-beam and Procore is required
- Familiarity with lean construction, OST software, BIM platforms and Revit will be an asset.
- Experience in ground-up construction with either a Developer-Builder, General Contractor or Construction Manager will be considered a strong asset but is not required.
- A degree, or diploma, in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management will be considered a strong asset but is not required if you have experience in ground-up construction.
