This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company while gaining valuable experience in the field of accounting.
As the Accounting Assistant your day to day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support the finance team in various projects and initiatives as needed
- Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures
Requirements
The successful Accounting Assistant will possess the following:
- Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
