The Bilingual Technical Sales Representative position is the first line customer contact for both inside & outside sales (periodical travel to Eastern Canada, GTA, & occasionally USA) to existing and potential customers and provides product marketing, price maintenance, inventory monitoring, and provides technical support and business development for our growing transportation / liner, printable and industrial businesses. This position liaises and interfaces with customers, distributors, sales team, the lab, logistics and accounts receivable departments.
How to convince us
Minimum 2 years sales experience with a manufacturing or distribution company
Bilingual (English / French) both written and verbal required
Plastics product knowledge or industry experience and plastics distribution channel is considered an asset
Highly motivated and energetic team player
Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills who can sell solutions and manage business priorities.
Strong analytical skills to problem solve, assess solution sales opportunities, recommend and implement tactical sales strategies plan
Excellent communication, Customer responsive
Strong time-management and problem solving skills
Driven to achieve in a sales environment, ability to solicit new accounts
Reacts positively to change; demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
Ability to utilize decision making skills, prioritize many objectives & multiple tasks
Able to demonstrate good people skills and diplomacy; maintain excellent performance under pressure
Must have strong attention-to-detail
Very organized
Business maturity, planning, and project management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline sensitive environment
Must be a team player through positive relationships, cross-training and being able to back-up other team members as needed, independently motivated
Must be proficient and savvy in Microsoft Office application software
What we offer
Compensation includes pay from $55,000.00 per year with commission after 1 year, competitive benefits package, and company-matched pension plan
