An international technology and logistics supplier, who has been in business over 100 years, is seeking a Bilingual (French and English) Solutions Sales Representative for the Greater Montreal region.

In this role, you will offer a consultative approach to sell cutting-edge technology solutions that cut down bottom line expenses for clients. The client market is manufacturing, OEM, and industrial, and the clients are situated in the Greater Montreal Area and Quebec (75%) regions with some nearby Ontario accounts (25%).
The role is expected to be 2 days / week in office, 2 days / week working remotely at home and 1 day / week remotely but visiting clients.
Responsibilities:
– Managing accounts and selling industrial products and services in Greater Montreal region and surroundings
– Managing existing accounts and they will be assigned a large portfolio of clients to explore the business potential of the clients – some are brand new and some have been there for several years but have not been explored recently
– Developing business by following up on leads and engaging clients
– Supporting all product selling activity in the assigned area, such as calling existing and new accounts
– Providing weekly reporting to sales management on quoting and selling activities
– Supporting clients and targeting new accounts, based on programs and leads to increase market share
– Increasing penetration into key accounts, using corporate programs
– Participating in tradeshows (occasionally when allowed)
– Documenting all sales activities in the CRM – Using CRM data to manage territory business strategies including, but not limited to, pipeline management for accurate forecasting
– Participating consistently and effectively in sales initiatives and programs
– Demonstrating competency in product demonstrations
Requirements:
– At least 2 years’ experience in sales or account management with product or service ideally experience in selling to manufacturing plants (an asset)
– Bilingualism – Excellent French (most of the clients are francophone) and functional English (capacity to work with the US head office)
– Must be great in customer service, coordination, project management skills, very organized, accountability, ownership, leadership, sense of responsibility, autonomy, problem-solving – someone who will do what it takes and knows to take decisions and is also driven by wins
– Bachelor’s degree or DEC is an asset
