We are hiring for an IT Support Specialist. Our client is a boutique natural gas and electricity retailer with 100+ employees. They are experiencing significant growth and looking to expand their IT team. This role requires someone with strong user support experience (0365, VM, AD, Exchange) coupled with some exposure to Networking and Cloud Administration (Azure). They have an amazing corporate culture and a fantastic team!
Job Requirements:
– Provide support for applications, server and network environments that include Microsoft Windows operating environments, Azure and cloud services, Office 365, Teams and Zoom
– Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems that affect the availability and functionality of network components
– Perform daily system monitoring, including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as back-ups
– Install, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade computer hardware and software
– Oversight of internal ticketing system requests and escalation process, ensuring proper communications and timely resolution
– Monitor and maintain telephone systems and other IT related systems
– Set up routers, firewalls, switches and hubs
– Set up domain users, network shares and shared printers
– Manage and maintain cloud-based technology and security
– Provide assisting internal customers via help desk and tickets
– Create system reports for use of upper management
