Our client in textile production is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the design and improvement of cutting-edge extrusion equipment. If you are passionate about engineering and innovation, this is your opportunity to excel in an ever-evolving industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
– Collaborate in the development of state-of-the-art extrusion equipment in close cooperation with suppliers
– Improve fiber production while reducing operational expenses
– Supervise and enhance equipment performance to maximize efficiency
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, equipment, and product quality
– Maximize equipment reliability to minimize operational interruptions
– Resolve issues promptly, showcasing your problem-solving skills
– Provide insightful reports and forecasts to drive excellence in production
Profile:
– Relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer
– Automation experience: specialization in seam automation for efficient sock production
– Bilingualism for reading machinery manuals coming from outside of Quebec
