Shifting Motorcycle School Looking for Part time Motorcycle Instructor (class 6) at Calgary, AB Full Time

We are searching for an experienced and licensed Class 6 instructor (Class 6).

This is a part time seasonal position, the potential candidate would have a valid standing Instructors license with Alberta Transportation.

You should be comfortable working alone, teaching to a group of 5 students at the time. The courses are 14 hours in total, and can be split over 2 or three days; working weekends and/or evenings during the week.

You have experience teaching, and references to support. Skilled in communication and being able to correct mistakes in a constructive non demeaning way; enabling our students to learn the proper fundamentals without developing bad habits. We teach people that have never ridden before, so patience and an ability to demonstrate as well as encourage are crucial.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14 per week

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

All courses are taught outdoors, and are able to keep physical distancing when required. We have hand sanitizers available.

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 6 Instructor Licence (preferred)
