Telecon Inc Looking for Human Resources Advisor, Talent & Culture at Vaughan, ON Full Time

Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded professional to take on the role of Human Resources Advisor, Talent and Culture. This role plays a key function in the engagement and retention of our people and the development of our workforce. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and developing various programs aimed at promoting awareness towards Diversity & Inclusion, growing the skills and abilities of our different management teams and building a talent pipeline. The duties may require minimal traveling to our main offices so the incumbent may reside in Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto and will report to the Director, Talent, Culture and Inclusion.

The successful candidate must be fully bilingual (French/English) as this is a National portfolio spanning coast to coast in Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement training programs using creative and innovative approaches to enhance skills, performance, or career progression.
• Leverage on successful approaches to promote awareness in Diversity & Inclusion, Mental Health and wellness and educate on unconscious bias.
• Collaborate across departments to identify relevant training needs.
• Develop and implement best in class orientation programs for new hires.
• Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and remaining agile to support the needs of the business.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 to 5 years relevant human resources experience in a human resources business partner or related capacity.
• Previous experience in talent and leadership development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Professional Designation in Human Resources considered an asset.
• Highly effective communicator and influencer.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competitive priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Fully bilingual (French and English) written and spoken.
