Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director – the Marketing Representative supports the Disney Destinations Sales Solutions team and is accountable for brand messaging, marketing, sales enablement and sales channel education programs for the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, and Aulani, a Disney Resort in Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

Manage brand priorities:

• Communicate brand messages to the sales team and clients
• Oversee brand compliance within the sales channels

Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns:

• Manage the creative and approvals of wholesale, retail, and online travel agency marketing campaigns
• Manage communication plans for promotional offers, events, and annual product
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage trade advertising creative
• Ensure client marketing and content is on brand and compliant
• Develop trade social media strategy by educating the sales team and our clients
• Continuously improve our go to market strategy through analysis, insights, and recommendations

Manage content across our sales tools and resources:

• Disneytravelagents.ca – timely updates of Canadian content
• Disneycopyright.com – manage marketing assets
• Print Connection – manage marketing assets
• Disney Travel Professionals – develop Canadian content
• Create product and marketing presentations for our sales team
• Provide analysis and recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness across our sales and marketing tools and programs

Special projects:

• Lead or support special projects which may include trade events, client appreciation initiatives, agent education programs and other sales programs
• Assist with budget management

Qualifications:

• 3 + years of related experience in executing promotions, working with creative, and managing projects
• Experience with the travel industry will be considered an asset
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills, strong business acumen
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven ability to create relationships within the community, internal and external partners
• Thrives by working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, in a multi-stakeholder environment
• Efficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
• French language skills preferred
• A valid passport and driver’s license are required

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
