Primary Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the VP-Finance, the Senior Manager-Accounting Operations & Process Transformation will be responsible for Order to Cash (specifically revenue & customer reporting, billing, accounts receivable, credit, deductions, returns processing) and cash management (e.g., cash application, cash reporting, supporting Finance Controllership in providing info for bank reconciliation). This position is responsible for providing quality service to internal and external clients and continuously improving results and process. The incumbent will be required to find efficiencies and automate and lead transformation, including ERP implementation, of these functions as well as assist other Finance groups in such initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Proactively manage and monitor overall performance to drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
• Establish regular communication with stakeholders to share successes and solicit challenges or concerns
• Define and agree KPIs with key stakeholders and manage performance
• Manage departmental improvements and monitor KPIs
• Support team with special projects and workflow process improvements
• Determine requirements to automate and improve systems and lead team and organization though transformation
• Maintain strong controls ensuring all group policies and all relevant statutory requirements are complied with
• Build a culture of continuous improvement that ensures process flows and standard operating procedures are both kept current and reviewed by all staff and stakeholders, and constantly enhanced and improved
• Build a strong team, including recruitment and development
• As a part of the finance leadership team, contribute to continuous finance improvement
• Ensure accounts receivable and financial accounting groups are meeting monthly deadlines, to ensure timely close of financial statements.
• Develop and maintain an internal revenue reporting processes to provide accurate timely information to internal stakeholders, and ensuring these numbers are consistent with externally reported figures.
• Help to identify and implement new controls surrounding accounts receivable, treasury and financial reporting functions to be compliant with internal control policies and procedures.
• Manage department budget

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

• Post-secondary business degree in Business required and accounting designation preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years progressive experience in finance or credit, including two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience leading a significant transformation on ERP usage; implementation experience, strongly preferred
• Experience leading virtual teams
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with high tolerance for
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and their application, as well as relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection and extension of credit
• Proficient knowledge with computer systems, account receivable processes and systems.
• Self-motivated with proven track record of strategic planning and effective implementation.
• High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
• Strong time management, problem solving, and written communication skills required.
