Position Overview
Reporting to the Logistics Centre Manager, the Logistics Centre Supervisor is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Logistics Centre in an efficient and effective manner.
Primary Responsibilities
Operations
- Maintains a schedule for Customer Service Specialists and Logistics Specialists
- Runs the weekly performance meeting
- Organizes and facilitates Logistics Centre meetings
- Tracks utilization of vehicles/ trips
Financial
- Submits payroll
- Prices trips
- Verifies third party vouchers
- Approves price changes and discounts
Reporting
- Monitors on time performance
- Completes call volume reports
- Generates KPIs
- Quality Assurance
Customer Relations
- Handles questions/inquiries from Customers
- Manages hospital concerns
- Provides Value Added Service
People Management
- Conducts monthly coaching sessions with Customer Service Specialists and Logistics Specialists
- Monitors performance of staff, providing work direction, and feedback
Requirements
College Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Work, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Dispatching experience is preferred
SHIFT: 06:00 to 14:00 Monday – Friday (on call rotation)
