Performs all duties related to the processing and maintenance of private pay receivables such as validating claims, invoice submissions, as well as following up, collecting, and posting payments. Verifies system-generated reports, prepares reconciliations and journal entries, and maintains files.
Responsibilities:
Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable to ensure customer collections are maintained in an efficient and accurate manner.
Produce invoices from billing system and submit claims to third party billing parties through various
Proactively monitor and follow-up on collections of outstanding
Liaison with customers to professionally address billing queries and/or investigate
Review customer agreements and ensure appropriate setup of systems and
Reconciliation of all third party billing claims and complete entries into accounting
Preparation of monthly billing & collections reports to management
Create and update training documentation to ensure consistent and accurate AR processes organization
Provide guidance to clinics on billing process and
Assist with month-end
Provide assistance and support to other duties as
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar position
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with medical imaging billing an asset
Experience with Quickbooks an asset
Proficient in MS Office (specifically – Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively independently or as a part of a multidisciplinary
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and
Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and problem-solving
Approaches work with flexibility and adaptability focused on getting the job done despite the challenges of a sometimes fast-moving and changing environment.
