The Corporate Services Division of Highways and Public Works provides critical central agency services to government and direct services to the department itself. We provide acquisition, risk management, purchasing, asset management, common products supply, printing, mail delivery, insurance, travel and fleet vehicle services to Yukon government departments. We also provide policy, communications, and finance services to the Department of Highways and Public Works. Our division employs analysts, procurement specialists, graphic designers, client service specialists, accountants and many other professionals.
This position provides financial support, accounts payable/receivable functions, general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting services for Transportation Division Finance. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy team environment, possess excellent interpersonal skills, have an eye for detail, be able to adjust to constant changing priorities and have a strong knowledge of Yukon Government financial processes and procedures.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume):
Post-secondary coursework in accounting or related discipline such as Business Administration.
Experience providing financial support, including performing accounts payable/receivable functions.
Experience using computer software programs (i.e. FMIS, FM30, Quest, Word, Excel).
Experience reconciling financial data
