The shipping and logistics clerk is responsible for executing the process of shipping products and parts to the organization’s customers based on a well-established process. He must also ensure compliance with the rules covering this sector of activity as well as the conformity policies determined by ABB Canada.
Your responsibilities
Take charge of the preparation vouchers.
Select the carrier in conformity with the rules and procedures and this according to the products and customers.
Prepare the shipping documents.
Update the internal computerized systems and ensure the data entry of the transactions carried out.
Prepare the transport and customs documents.
Forward the transport and customs documents to the various stakeholders (customers, carriers, customs, internal departments).
All other tasks related to the nature of the activities.
Your background
Transportation Logistics, Office System Technology, Information and Library Technologies, or any other relevant experience. College-level education in an appropriate field will also be considered.
Good knowledge of the Office Suite software (especially Excel).
Bilingualism, English-French.
Experience with SAP (an asset).
Ability to keep up with a steady pace.
