The Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Contracts & Pricing Representative, reporting to the Senior Manager Contracts and Pricing, and will be working out of the Ottawa, Ontario office.
The Contracts & Pricing Representative will join the International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) Contracts team supporting Boeing Defense efforts. This team supports the International business for all defense efforts around the world. This position specifically supports Canadian Defense efforts with focus on the Chinook program but is versatile to support other platforms and programs as needed.
As part of the International DCS Contracts team, the Contracts & Pricing Representative will be focused and aligned to our current and growing global customers and aligned across the Boeing Global Service sites. This position will partner with Program Regional Directors and Project Managers along with Business Development from pre-proposal activities to proposal and contract development, to award and continuing throughout contract execution and delivery. The Contracts & Pricing Representative will be required to work with other disciplines such as Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Law and Export Compliance throughout the preparation, review and approval process.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist the acquisition team in support of requirements definition planning, organizing, development and submittal of proposals and subsequent negotiation and administration.
Close coordination with various internal functions (including, but not limited to Estimating & Pricing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Financial Controls, Program Management, Global Sales and Marketing, etc.).
Requirements definition with internal and external customers; Request for proposal review; Proposal Plan of Action development; coordination and facilitation of functional inputs; proposal development; proposal gate reviews; negotiations; contract award and post award activities.
Research and effectively solve problems, effectively collaborate and lead acquisition teams, develop negotiation positions and ensure proper hand-offs with the execution team
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Boeing reserves the right to change the telecommuting option at any time.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Post-Secondary education
1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
Experience using Microsoft office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Experience working with Government programs
Experience with Government acquisition process
Active Secret Level II Security Clearance
Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations
Experience adapting to changes in schedules and priorities and solving problems and generating alternatives
Work well independently or as part of a team
Strong time management skills
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
