Summary of Duties:
The full-time HR Officer will provide HR guidance to managers and supervisors in both union and non-union settings and work collaboratively with the larger leadership team to promote and advance the mission, values and strategic direction of the organization. Responsibilities include executive oversight of the human resources department, developing and maintaining accredited HR best practices, ensuring a safe and welcoming working environment for all staff and creatively promoting wellness and training supports. The right person is excited to shape, develop and support new initiatives and looks forward to supporting revitalized recruitment and retention strategies.
