Essential Functions
As the DAVACO National Logistics Manager, you will report to the Director of Operations, and work closely with Program and Field Management teams daily. This position manages all logistics, warehousing and consolidation projects, as well as stand-alone projects with independent warehousing/logistics needs.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, with an emphasis on service and solutions. You will simultaneously engage multiple projects at varying stages through to completion. Sourcing, qualifying, maintaining and building relationships with new partners at a national level will be fundamental. Adhering to budgetary requirements and negotiating will be necessary to support the cost-effectiveness of the department.

Job Attributes and Skills
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a remote logistics team.
Manage the Logistics and Warehousing processes for ALL DAVACO programs.
Coordinate, monitor, and price all Logistics programs/projects in conjunction with Project Managers.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes; participate in weekly meetings.
Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
Schedule all product distribution and coordinate shipments for all locations; Prepare customs declarations, track and report shipment results.
Act as liaison with the field crews, drivers, carriers, project managers and final destinations.
Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages.
Define Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and path of escalation for DAVACO customer orders facing service disruptions.
Seek enhancement opportunities to improve the delivery customer?s experience.
Develop and manage logistics KPIs.
Create, track and sign off on all inventory trackers and freight invoices; Review and analyze invoices to forward to accounting.
Identify systems and processes where beneficial or required to support operations.
Work on complex projects of large scope and independently manage tasks.
Source and qualify new logistics vendors/partners based on our program and SLA requirements with clients.
Prepare SOP manuals by program and by client for Warehousing/Logistics partners; Ensure accountability to service and financial agreements.
Conduct meetings with external stakeholders and partners for client programs, ensure clear processes and deliverables.
Respond in a timely fashion to escalations both within and outside of typical working HRS.
Complete in-person site audits and inventory counts with Logistics partners as needed.
Ensure all materials are on-site as scheduled according to the timeline. Work with the corporate office to resolve concerns.
Complete Pos/SOVs as required.
Produce program reporting as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, project management or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
Retail, QSR, Warehouse experience an asset.
5+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
Strong project management skills and ability to supervise multiple projects; Demonstrated ability to excel at the most difficult types of projects.
Familiar with the industry?s procedures, costs, and terms.
Smartsheet, Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite certifications.
Tech savvy, capable of navigating or troubleshooting communications through remote/online mediums.
Competence in managing, coordinating, and working with and around clients, tradespeople and vendors.
Proven ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Thorough, organized notetaking, reporting and tracking of budgets, expenditures, and operations.
Quickly learn and implement new accounts with minimum training.
Work Location
Office is located in Concord, ON. Hybrid to start, with the flexibility to work from home.
