KIDZ AUTISM AND SPEECH CLINIC is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill in part-time independent contractor Instructor Therapist position. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in a home, school/daycare settings with Senior Therapist supervision with full COVID-19 protocols and pre-cautions.
Candidates may be required to travel throughout their area to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. Successful candidates must collaborate with other team members in the consistent implementation of a student’s behavioural programs and procedures, maintain regular communication with parents as required and participate in scheduled team meetings as required.
Successful candidates should possess:
- A College Diploma or University Degree in ABA related field
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle or other reliable method of transportation (when travel is required)
- Experience as an Instructor Therapist (IT) implementing ABA/IBI programming is an asset.
- ABA/Autism related Diploma/Certificate is mandatory.
Successful candidates are required to complete a criminal background check (with Vulnerable Sector).
