USA/CANADA – LONG HAUL Highway Dispatcher (Surrey)
We are in search of a qualified dispatcher/logistics coordinator with related industry experience in long haul trucking.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep Records, monitor drivers’ daily logs for errors or violations and monitoring their working hours and equipment availability.
Receive and answer emergency and non-emergency calls.
Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline to minimize how many trucks and drivers are out.
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
Comfortable with dialing outgoing cold-calls to potential customers for shipments/loads
Requirements:
Dispatch experience required, preferrably with FlatDeck/StepDeck
Hands on experience working in stressful, emergency situations
Critical thinker and problem solving skills
Customer Service skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
