Mission Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a 6 month term. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative individual who wants to contribute their marketing knowledge, love of project management and diverse skill set to a fast-paced team. This is the perfect position for someone who loves to stay organized and on top of everything! Reporting to the Project Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing timelines and execution of marketing initiatives related to the corporate and project brands.
This is a 6-month term position. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30 pm.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with the marketing team on the execution of the corporate and project brands.
Assist the Project Manager to manage project timelines, processes and budgets.
Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a servant-minded, warm-hearted and forward-thinking manner.
Coordinate and implement print, email and digital marketing campaigns.
Assist in email marketing efforts by coordinating content development, building emails and setting deployment dates.
Provide graphic design for needs that are less complicated i.e. copy changes, image updates, creating flyers, posters and signs
Assist with managing outside resources to ensure work is being done on time, within budget and individuals have what is needed to complete the project.
Assist with event planning and execution for project launches and alike.
Assist with social media management and online project needs as required.
Other tasks assigned as needed.
What you’ll have:
Post secondary education in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
2 + years experience working in marketing
Deadline oriented and organized by nature
Excellent project management skills are essential
Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously – calm under pressure
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced pre-sales environment
Natural leadership and communication skills
Ability to negotiate with vendors
Strong initiative and a can-do attitude
Constantly seeking to improve processes
Comfortable working with, or open to learning, marketing/sales CRMs, website backend, and Google’s advertising and analytics suite
Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Wordpress website backend
