Payment Source Looking for Product Operations Assistant at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Under the guidance of the Products Operations Manager, the Product Operations Assistant will provide support, including administrative tasks, for payment methods and systems. This position requires familiarity with the Canadian payments industry, active involvement in daily operational duties, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve payment issues while also addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Functions/Duties

• Address incoming requests concerning payments, payouts, refunds, and fraud matters.
• Review and monitor payment records and make adjustments when necessary.
• Assist in managing daily operational tasks including file processing and various payment systems processes.
• Responsible for the monitoring of payment transactions, issue resolution and escalation management.
• Owning payment issues from beginning to end, working with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a systematic and timely fashion.
• Create internal and external reporting.
• Accurately manage files and documentation.
• Assist with product testing and development.
• Support with new product testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology or related field
• 1+ years’ experience in operations preferably in the Payments/Financial Services industry
• Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
• Professional experience in Canadian payments is an asset.
• Knowledge in SQL, Excel and Tableau is a competitive advantage.
• Quick adaptation to new software and systems.
• Hands-on mentality, solution-oriented approach, and commitment to excellence.

Work Location: This role is a 100% remote role (work from home).

Salary: $41,000 – $45,000 annually
