Rossdown Natural Foods is seeking for an HR Coordinator, who is heavily focused on recruiting. This role will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment activities across a group of companies including unionized and non-union employees. We are a tight knit people and culture team who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage all stages of full-cycle recruitment
• Work with managers/supervisors in building realistic job descriptions for various roles.
• Create eye-catching job postings, conduct phone screens, schedule, and lead interviews, administer assessment, prepare offers, complete reference/background checks, and presenting/negotiating offers to successful candidates.
• Build relationships with external applicants and create/provide nothing less than an outstanding candidate experience across all stages of the recruitment process.
• Handle all coordination and communication with candidates and management.
• Headhunt strategically for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using online tools such as LinkedIn, networking, employee referrals and your advanced knowledge of our company.
• Thoroughly evaluate and qualify applicants for specific qualifications prior to moving them through the interview process.
• All other admin duties as assigned, including updating reports, building reports, preparing wage analysis etc.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Post secondary degree or diploma in HR is an asset
• Adaptable approach to problems – you are able to think quickly on your feet
• Track record of delivering exceptional candidate experience
• Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office especially outlook
• Ability to work independent
• Ability to work with various levels of management

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
