Position: Accounting Technician – Data Analyst
Location: Montreal
Salary: Up to $65,000 per year (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking an Accounting Technician – Data Analyst to join our team in Montreal. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for managing various accounting functions including accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and general office duties.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain accounting and office spreadsheets
– Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end close
– Prepare and submit financial reports on a timely basis
– Handle accounts receivables and payables
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall department goals are achieved
– Support the Financial Director with special projects and workflow process improvements
– Respond to inquiries from the Financial Director regarding financial results and special reporting requests
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
– At least 2 years of relevant experience
– Understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
– Strong organizational and time management skills
