Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the VP Finance and accounting team at INK Entertainment’s head office. The team is responsible for managing all financial and payroll transactions, tracking company expenditures, and managing the entire accounting cycle for the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform delegated tasks from VP Finance
• Record sales and expenses in a timely manner
• Manage accounts payables and cash flow
• Manage payroll for INK’s various venues, as assigned
• Act as main contact for payroll and financial inquiries from management and/or employees
• Submit government forms and remittances
• Complete bank reconciliations and month-end journal entries
• Prepare and conduct analysis for month-end and year-end reports
• Work closely with external auditors to complete year-end financial statements
• Maintain adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls
• Support management and operations with ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as required
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as an accountant or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Related certification (i.e., CPA) or working towards certification considered an asset
• Proven knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Previous working experience with accounting software
• Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Note: salary will be dependant on experience.

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
