Like on a sports team, everyone contributes to the success of a business. The coaching advisor – materials is responsible for training the department team and is a first point of contact for customers.
Job summary
The coaching advisor – materials, onboards, trains, and develops employees within the department. The incumbent provides exemplary customer service, informing and advising customers on the products offered by the department. He/she is the department’s expert, knows product features, applications, and installation methods, and is able to estimate the quantities required. The coaching advisor maintains the department, merchandising and stocking its products to ensure their availability, ensures compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and performs all other related tasks.

Average salary range: $16 to $22.15/hr (based on experience and internal equity)
Standing work with frequent movement around the store
Loads of 50 to 75 pounds to be lifted on occasion
Retail working environment
