ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Specialist at our head office in Richmond, BC.
The Senior Marketing Specialist takes a lead role in the marketing team in pulling together our Business Units’ marketing initiatives and executing the marketing strategy for their region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Marketing Strategy:
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing Americas Region, the SMS will coordinate and execute marketing strategy for the assigned region, liaising between Product and Corporate Marketing teams.
Leverage marketing automation tools (Marketo) in our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to monitor, analyze and represent campaign results to the business and continuously optimize campaigns based on feedback from internal stakeholders to ensure strategic objectives are met.
Provide Quarterly Reports for Regional Marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing analysis for all stakeholders on identifiable trends in these defined KPIs and any actions to be taken to improve results.
Regional Marketing Execution:
Coordinate regional campaigns that focus on the delivery of the Business Unit’s Strategic Plan within the region.
Align all Business Unit Initiatives
Be responsible for executing regional campaigns and events. Support and translate product specific campaigns to meet the unique regional requirements:
Design and execute the methodology and approach
Create and monitor customer feedback mechanisms
Apply research strategies to increase focus and alignment of marketing campaigns
Plan and execute trade shows and other customer events.
Coordinate print and digital advertising within the region, optimizing the provided marketing budget.
Manage content for regional website(s), social media, and other digital marketing activities
Other Responsibilities:
Stay current with best practices: standards, regulations and technologies.
Create, implement, and maintain systems and procedures to ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained. Provide outstanding customer service, whether external or internal.
Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assist in preparing an annual budget.
Collaborate with all Marketing teams and Regional Sales & Marketing team members in a mutually respectful manner.

Exceptional skills at planning, organizing, implementing and communicating integrated marketing plans across business lines and departments.
Proven ability to manage and implement marketing plans that align with product lifecycles, and application of marketing strategies, tools, and understanding of CRM.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
Proven ability to collaborate with different entrusted internal and external parties, building partnerships.
Must be able to juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure within a matrix team setting.
Proven strong work ethic, agility, and accountability.
Strong business acumen, optimistic with an ability to set goals, plan and manage projects and priorities, and understanding risk to reward concept.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or equivalent required
5+ years of marketing experience within a B2B environment is preferred. Software or Transportation or Engineering industry marketing experience is an asset.
2+ years’ experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software.
Understanding of how Google AdWords and Google Analytics contributes to demand generation
Experience with project management and productivity collaboration tools (Asana, Wrike, Basecamp)
Proven experience with crafting effective social media messaging and content for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Marketing Automation Tool experience: Marketo preferable (or other MA tool experience).
